  • SENIOR ENGINEER (Location: Houston, TX).
    POSITION: SENIOR ENGINEER HOURS: 40 HRS./WK. DUTIES: Coordinate and direct the design, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and repair of drilling equipment components such as blowout preventers and multiplex control systems for deepwater drilling rigs. Review design, specifications and documentation of electrical components for regulatory and client compliance. Oversee management activities to ensure that component manufacturing meets specifications and schedule requirements. Provide support to component manufacturers and operators regarding technical queries on behalf of client company to assure technical quality excellence, timely work completion, and use of resources and responsiveness to client needs. Requires: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of progressive post-bachelor's experience as engineer or related occupation in the design, installation, maintenance and repair of blowout preventers and MUX control systems for deep-water drilling rigs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor's experience as engineer or related occupation in the design, installation, maintenance and repair of blowout preventers and MUX control systems for deep-water drilling rigs. Such 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor's should include a minimum of 2 years of offshore experience in field service or subsea, performing maintenance, repair and commissioning of deepwater drilling rigs. Working knowledge of industry standards including American Petroleum Institute 6A, 16A, 16D, ABS/CDS, DNV OS-E101 and ASME Sections 8 & 9.   • Software Surveyor
    Title: Software Surveyor Duties:
    • Execute vendor management activities to ensure equipment meets quality specifications and is completed on schedule.
    • Represent client by working with vendor managers and scheduling personnel to ensure timely delivery of critical equipment.
    • Perform document review with limited supervision at assigned vendor sites, including international locations. Types of documents include product specifications, functional equipment descriptions, FMEA (Failure Modes and Effect Analysis), test procedures, software version control procedures, and software Management of Change procedures.
    • Perform surveys with limited supervision at assigned vendor sites, including international locations. Types of surveys include, progress monitoring, FAT, Final Inspection, and Data Book review.
    • Work closely with assigned third party inspection personnel to ensure that equipment is in compliance with relevant standard, restrictions, specifications, and delivery schedule.
    • Perform pre-deployment briefings for commissioning team.
    • Prepare a daily or weekly report as required of surveillance activities.
    • Resolve equipment issues/punch items. Ensure that unresolved items are clearly communicated to client.
    • Represent client at all times in a professional manner.
    • Complete internal time sheets and expense reports in a timely and correct manner.
    Qualifications:
    • Four year Computer Science or Programming degree with no experience.
    • Two year Computer Science or Programming degree and minimum of two years of related experience in manufacture, operation, or maintenance of Drilling or Offshore Equipment may be used in lieu of a four year degree.
    • Five to Ten years related experience in programming, PLC configuration, manufacture, operation, or maintenance of Drilling or Offshore Equipment may be used in lieu of a four year degree.
    • Knowledge of DNV/ABS/Lloyds class requirements and relevant design codes.

    • Additional language skills in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, or Korean is a plus
  • Office Manager
    Position: Office Manager Location: Houston, TX Industry: Oil & Gas
      Responsibilities:
      • Be present during normal office hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
      • Provide administrative support to the company’s:
      • President
      • Management as time permits
      • Specific tasks includes:
      • Answer and transfer all incoming phone calls, take messages when necessary.
      • Setup and maintain Entrion customer files.
      • Greet clients, customers, and potential employees.
      • Maintain multiple calendars and assist in scheduling Entrion Employees and Contractor assignments.
      • Organize meetings, teleconferences, and luncheons.
      • Coordinate mail, shipping and receiving, and outgoing packages.
      • Data entry / File maintenance / Database support
      • Process office supply orders.
      • Coordinate travel arrangements for employees including getting competitive quotes for airfares.
      • Perform other tasks as directed in providing supplemental administrative support as needed.
      • Maintain Outlook database including scanning business cards.
      Qualifications
      • High School Diploma required, some college is a plus.
